We have also secured favourable grid connection quotes, with planned connection points near substations to reduce infrastructure costs and integration delays. These measures highlight our focus on reliable energy distribution, reinforcing our dedication to sustainable and practical solutions.

Uganda
- In Uganda, we are collaborating with the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) and the Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) to finalise agreements for electricity purchase.
- A draft Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with an approved tariff is already in place. This milestone positions us to advance swiftly, supported by strong partnerships and comprehensive planning.
- These efforts align with our commitment to strengthening Uganda’s energy sector with integrity and efficiency.
Kenya
- In Kenya, ACES Renewables is actively negotiating PPAs with various commercial and industrial companies.
- These discussions pave the way for delivering clean, renewable energy to meet Kenya’s growing energy demands while promoting environmental sustainability.
- Our tailored approach reflects our dedication to addressing regional energy challenges with innovative solutions.
South Africa
- In South Africa, ACES Renewables is finalising PPAs with leading mining and industrial companies for electricity generated from our 153 MW solar project in Cullinan.
- Discussions for a second phase, involving an additional 250 MW, are in progress.
- These initiatives are designed to support industrial growth and environmental sustainability, highlighting our role as a key player in the country’s energy transition.
Zambia
- ACES Renewables has signed a term sheet to provide 25 MW of solar power to several industrial companies and mines in the Congo (DRC) through wheeling across the border between Zambia and the DRC.
- With all project components in place and key agreements drafted or in negotiation, ACES Renewables is poised for success in delivering clean, renewable energy to these regions and beyond.
Congo (DRC)
- In 2025, ACES Renewables will actively investigate development opportunities for solar plants to service the power requirements of large mines and industrial companies in the DRC in cooperation with influential local partners, providing behind the on -site solutions.
